Contact Us Today!For civil and spiritual ceremonies there is a requirement to give 3 months notification to the Registrar of Civil Marriages for the district in which you intend to marry. There are fortunately no requirements specifying that you must be living in the district in which you intend to be married.
The guidelines for venues are available on the General Registrar’s website; and these guidelines must be followed to ensure that a wedding is approved in advance. Wedding venues such as the open air, private dwellings and marquees are not permitted under these guidelines and celebrants can perform a wedding ceremony Monday to Friday.
